CDL Truck Driver
We’re looking for a CDL Truck Driver who can help keep our jobs running smoothly each day. You’ll handle the safe, efficient transport of materials and equipment to job sites, perform vehicle inspections, secure loads, keep DOT‑compliant documentation, and stay in touch with supervisors and project teams about delivery status. You’ll need a valid CDL, solid safe‑driving habits, and a professional attitude while representing the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate commercial trucks (Class A or Class B) in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
Transport materials, equipment, and supplies to designated locations safely and efficiently.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and report any issues promptly.
Maintain accurate Logs, trip reports and all required documentation.
Follow assigned routes and schedules while adapting to changing job-site needs.
Communicate with supervisors, project managers and site personnel to receive clear instruction.
Report defects, accidents and/or violations.
Create an open and positive relationship with other drivers and vendors.
Keep vehicles clean, organized, and in good working conditions.
Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions.
Ability to handle unexpected situations including road hazards.
Uphold company safety standards and participate in required training.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
Must maintain a current Medical Card.
Must maintain a valid CDL appropriate for operation vehicles over 26,001 pounds.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver heavy materials.
Ability to work after hours or overtime if required.
Required endorsements for hazardous material of oversized loads (if applicable).
Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
